Q2 Software is an established e-banking solution provider that is seeking to hire a Senior Cisco Network Engineer to implement, maintain, and support new and existing infrastructure. We are looking for a dedicated network engineer who can provide network support while maintaining excellent communication and documentation skills within a highly secured environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure, install and maintain network services, equipment and devices.
  • Document and communicate all network changes.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues, debug and diagnose logs.
  • Monitor network devices.
  • Lead or guide the work of other staff engaged in similar functions.
  • Attend and actively participate in weekly meetings.
  • Maintain security in a highly regulated environment.
  • Participate in additional duties for IT functionality as needed.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience configuring, implementing and administrating network devices.
  • Advanced knowledge of Cisco ASA and Nexus equipment.
  • Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP.
  • Advanced knowledge to perform IP packet captures, analyze data, and diagnose the communication.
  • Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting LAN to LAN VPN.
  • Advanced knowledge of hardware appliance server load balancing.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple ongoing projects with competing deadlines.
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills quickly.
  • Effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information.
